TOPOGRAPHY OF BRAZIL

Papaya trees are grown in Brazil.
Papaya is a fruit crop widely cultivated around the world, especially in Brazil. In the states of Espirito Santo and Bahia papaya plantations lengthen to an area of 35.556ha, mainly as monoculture. Papayas produced in the northern of the state of Espirito Santo have excellent climate conditions that the fruit is produced the whole year round. They grow best at lower altitudes below 1000m.
